Missoula Food Bank executive director resigning

MISSOULA – The executive director of the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center is stepping down.

After seven years, Aaron Brock leaves The Nature Conservancy to become Montana’s Director of Development.

In a press release, the Missoula Food Bank lauded Brock’s achievements, including the shift to a new, more extensive facility on Wyoming Street that can serve more people.

In addition, the community center currently has a child learning center, a learning kitchen, and a Partnership Health Center satellite clinic.

“I’m proud of the work that’s been done here at the food bank, and I’m humbled and glad to have been a part of it for the last seven years,” Brock said. “It has been an honor to work with this great staff and so many kinds and competent volunteers and partners, and Missoula Food Bank & Community Center will always have an extraordinary place in my heart.”

“Aaron leaves large shoes to fill,” says board chair Kari Schauss. “The Board is appreciative for Aaron’s leadership and service and understands how much he will be missed.” The Board Leadership Committee is now creating a task group to plan for succession.”
