Montana COVID-19 update: 3,426 new cases; 7 additional deaths

On Monday, 3,426 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Montana; this statistic represents the number of new cases reported since Friday’s report. In the state, there are now 18,607 active cases.

In Montana, there were seven new deaths recorded in the counties of Big Horn (2), Lewis & Clark, Lincoln, Sanders (2), and Yellowstone. All of this happened in January.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, 3,000 Montana citizens have perished as a result of COVID-19 (DPHHS).

The latest number of COVID-19-related hospitalizations is 310, down from 312 recorded last Friday. There have been 11,002 hospitalizations in Montana as a result of the infection.

In Montana, there have been a total of 242,180 cases of COVID-19. The total number of recoveries today stands at 220,573. Since the latest DPHHS report, 13,515 new COVID-19 tests have been conducted.

A total of 548,467 Montanans have been completely immunized, indicating that 54 percent of eligible citizens have been vaccinated. A total of 1,378,098 doses were delivered.
