Pegaxy: How to Play, How to Earn, and Top Tips

The racing game Pegaxy features futuristic mythological animals known as Pega, who are descendants of the fabled Pegasus monster.

It was announced that the Pegaxy peer-to-peer game will begin development in February 2021. It is published by Mirai Labs, a web3 game firm. Appota Group’s CTO, Steve Nguyen, is in charge of all things technical. Previously, he and the CEO of Gamota, Ken Pham, formed one of the leading Vietnamese game companies.

Pegaxy has 138K Discord users, 94K Twitter followers, and 16K Telegram members in its community. The beta version is available here.

How to play Pegaxy?

It is required that you have at least one Pega to compete in the Pegaxy daily PvP races. Each race had fifteen participants. The goal is to place in the top three of the field at the end of the race.

Every month, the best 60 racers in each of the game’s five classes compete for in-dash competitions for bragging rights. As a result, only the best 12 racers in each class will be allowed to participate in the final.

There are 660 players in all in the grand finale after 11 months of monthly tournaments.

All players are eligible once, and if the same racer is in the top three in another month, a new player will be selected.

How to earn in Pegaxy?

The top three finishers in the daily races get Pegaxy’s utility token, VIS (Vigorous).

In Pegaxy’s governance token, PGX (Pegaxy Stone), the monthly winners of each class are rewarded with PGX. PGX is given to the top three finishers in the grand event. The community treasury and the ecosystem fund contribute to the grand tournament’s prizes.

Pegaxy’s staff is working hard to implement a reward system that gives priority to the top players rather than those who can purchase the most expensive Pega.

Renting out a Pega for a percentage of the race’s profits or for a certain period of time is another option available to Pega owners. For-profit, they may buy and sell Pega of various rarities, including the rarest founding and crowned varieties (see below for more information).

Tokenomics of Pegaxy: PGX and VIS

The Pegaxy p2e game makes extensive use of the ERC-20 token PGX, a governance token.

Breeding new Pega and acquiring new Pega may be done using this. Tournament prizes are given out in the form of PGX tokens, as indicated above.

holders will have the ability to vote on important game developments and stake PGX for further incentives as well.

PGX has a total supply of 1 billion units. For team funds, private sales, marketing funds, the ecosystem reserve, and community developer incentive funds, the management selected linear vesting durations.

So that all stockholders will be able to continue for a long time. The allotment of PGX tokens follows:

  • Incentives from inside the community (16 percent )
  • Ecosystem protection and marketing (30 percent )
  • A group of people (22 percent )
  • Liquidity is the ability to move freely (10 percent )
  • Purchases made by individuals acting on their own (20 percent )
  • I’m not interested in doing this (2 percent )

The VIS token, on the other hand, serves as an in-game currency. It’s an ERC-20 token, as well. In the breeding and fusion processes, this is the most important token. For each Pega, the amount of VIS needed varies based on the number and kind of breeds present.

Get to know your Pega better.

Pegaxy’s main characters are divided into four distinct lineages. Their distinctive wing pattern serves as an easy way to recognize them.

On the basis of rarity, the following is the list:

Hoz n’aw (rarest)
The town of Campana (rare)
Iris (uncommon)
This is Zan (common)

Also, keep in mind that the following two Pega are one-of-a-kind and very valuable:

These are the first Pega ever made by the game. It’s estimated that there are 5,000 of them, and they set the groundwork for the next generation of Pega.

“Crowned Pega” is the title given to Pega’s deities. These Pega can only be created by the owners of mythical tokens. Early on in development, the crew gave out mythical tokens to the players. Tokens are limited to 722. Crowned Pega development requires five mythical tokens. Your endeavor may or may not result in a Crowned Pega, though. The following are the chances of occurrence.

  • The crown of thorns (25 percent )
  • A pair of crowns (10 percent )
  • The crown of triads (4 percent )
  • Quadruple crown (0.25 percent )
  • Crowned Penta (0.02 percent )

As a result, after all, legendary tokens are depleted, fresh Pega will not be possible. These Pega are highly helpful for all of these reasons.

Breeding of Pega: Bloodline and Rarity Aspects

Using Pegaxy as a breeding platform is a wise move. To begin with, the Pega’s rarity and, by extension, its pedigree, plays a crucial part in breeding.

When two lineages are combined, the one with the lowest rarity tends to take center stage.

Hoz is the rarest lineage, whereas Zan is the most frequent. For example, when you breed, you get the following results:

Since Zan is the least uncommon lineage, any other bloodline you mix with it will result in a new Zan kid. Only by mating Hoz with Hoz can you produce a Hoz offspring. In all other cases, the child will come from a more common line of ancestry.

Zan is the result of adding Klin and Zan together. Since the second most prevalent lineage is Klin, any other combination will result in a Klin kid.

All of these words have the same meaning: Campona + Campona, Campona + Zan, Klin, Campona + Campona, Campona + Hoz.
In addition, there are five distinct breeds: founder, legendarily-rare, epically-rare, and speedster.

Because the mother has a lesser rarity, the subsequent infant will likewise be lower in rarity than the mother. Since no founder Pega may be formed by breeding, there will only be 5,000 of them, as indicated above.

Breeding of Pega: Cooldown Times

The time it takes to cool down varies according to the lineage. Each of the following lineages requires a different amount of time to heal: Hoz, Campana, Klin, and Zan.

For Hoz, 72 hours, for Campinas, 48 hours, for Klins, and 24 hours for Zans, a newborn Pega has to wait before it may enter a race. Before it can race again, the parent Pega must wait 96 hours. This is true for all branches of a family.

A Pega may be bred seven times. You can’t breed a Pega from any lineage until 96 hours after it’s born.

Breeding of Pega: Costs

You must pay 30 PGX each time you breed a Pega at the time of writing, but this fee may rise in the future. Regardless of how many times a given Pega has been bred, this fee stays the same.

VIS tokens are required for breeding. When it’s your first time, you’ll have to pay 2,000 VIS, but the price goes up with the number of breeds. For example, the price is 10,000 VIS for the breed count (3/7) and 42,000 VIS for the breed count (6/7).

Fusion of Pega

As long as the two Pega have the same breed type, you may unite them to produce an even rarer Pega. This will increase your VIS token earnings since Pega with greater rarity is more valuable in races.

The fusion process does not have a cooling-off time, in contrast to breeding. After the fusion, your Pega may race, breed, or fuse again. Additionally, this means that you may fuse Pega while they are racing and cooling down.
